Lil' Grizz Trap
Under O. Reg 667/98, section 1(1), a killing trap is defined as "a device designed to kill an animal by seizing and holding it by part of its body"
Under O. Reg. 667/98, a holding trap is defined as "a trap that is designed to capture but not kill an animal by seizing and holding it by a leg."
Note: These types of traps may not be set in a place that could result in an animal being hung from the trap with its feet off the ground [Ontario Regulation 667/98, Section 23]

Relaxing Cable Restraint
Relaxing cable restraints are defined by O. Reg. 667/98 as "a suspended snare that is designed to capture and restrain an animal alive through a relaxing lock mechanism that allows the cable loop to loosen when pressure is released"
